The Best Christmas Show

Arden worked really hard practicing her songs for the Christmas program at her school. Her two favorite songs were Joyful, Joyful and Have a Holly Jolly Christmas. She sang every word and did her best. She told me the night before she had a little stage fright but overcame it the next morning.

Overheard

Thomas: "Momma, Where go Daddy?"

This was his first sentence. Dave was pumping gas in the car and Thomas couldn't find him. So hard to believe he's going to be talking a mile a minute soon.

The Nutcraker

Arden and I ventured into the world of ballet and saw The Nutcracker this Christmas. We had a good time but it was a little long. I think we would have done better if they would have left out the intermission.

Arden now does ballet around the house. She prefers to dance to Christmas music. She's so much fun.

Here we are before we left for the ballet.

Christmas at the Library

One of our favorite Christmas activities was Christmas at the Billy Graham Library. We had such a great time. It was a simple celebration with lights, horse drawn carriages and a live nativity.

There was also a talking cow inside the library which was Arden's favorite part of the trip. Actually, this activity might have been our favorite holiday treat.

If you ever have the chance to go to it I would recommend it. We loved it.

Where to Begin?

It appears that December turned into an unexpected blogging break. We were extremely busy with the holidays. Hopefully, I can catch up with pictures and stories and then start off the new year with our daily happenings.

Question of the Week

When we slow down so I can find time to blog?
