We had a very busy but great 4th of July. Last night we went to the last installment of the Pops in the Park for this summer. We had a great time chatting with all of our friends. We also watched the fireworks and sang some classic America songs.
Dave's parents arrived and spent the day watching Arden run around and play. We missed the parade this morning through our neighborhood. We thought we would make it in time but I guess they walked too fast. Grammy and Grandpa got to see her in action at the pool jumping in and swimming on her own (with her float suit). They even cheered her on as she jumped off the diving board.
Right now we can hear the fireworks going off down the street. I am so thankful to live in a country that is free. I hope you had a happy 4th of July too.
